I was 7 when my big brother left for college. I remember the excitement of waiting for his arrival at Thanksgiving and Christmas Breaks, and running out to meet him as soon as his car pulled in the driveway. (i always volunteer to pick him up at the airport today, because of the same anticipation and excitement of spending time with him)
My favorite gift of childhood came from him on one of his semester break visits. He brought me a furry little stuffed kitten in a basket.

He's inspired me to travel and to look at endings as the beginning of new chapters.
I must say though his Gumbo is good, its not as good as mine! :)
