It’s God’s Earth; we’re merely caretakers.

That’s the reason Christians should be active environmentalists. In some cases, good stewardship of the earth can also mean real cost savings too. A Compact Fluorescent Light (CFL) can save $30-$100 in energy costs over the life of the bulb. And if more of us made the change, the results would add up…

Could changing a light bulb really make much of a difference to the environment? According to government statistics, if every household in the United States replaced just one incandescent bulb with a CFL, the reduction in greenhouse gas emissions would be equal to taking over 800,000 cars off the road and would save more than $600 million a year in energy costs.

If you’ve been considering changing your lightbulbs from incandescent to compact fluorescent light (CFL), here’s a guide from Danny Lipford’s website.
