Rev. Ron -
A very informative and moving article about your family's experiences as a result of Katrina. I watched hours and hours of coverage as it happened...many in disbelief that these things were actually transpiring in America and in 2005. I devoured Douglas Brinkley's book about Kartina, signed up for HBO to be able to watch Spike Lee's documentary, and have read and watched several things since then. I can't say that I understand any better how and why some of these things occured. I saw part of a PBS special recently that explained very well how the levies failed and how things happened as a result. I will never forget the cover of Newsweek two years ago with with beautiful, but sad, face of a little black girl named Faith, who had lived through Katrina. Maybe a lesson there?
