It was a pleasant drive to Boston, broken up by a stayover in Albany on the way. Once I got settled in Boston, I figured out the “T” subway system and set out to do some sightseeing, only to learn that the historic sites were closing and that major rain storms were expected for the next day. Storms hovered over the east coast for several days. It meant I just had to cram a little more into my sightseeing when the rain let up.
